Ballot error leaves Potter County constable race on all precincts
An error shows the constable race in the Potter County ballot across all precincts though only Precinct 1 has such race. Incumbent J. D. Duke and W. W. Riner are candidates for Precinct 1. Other precincts show no constable race. The fate of new ballots and counting instructions rests with the Potter County Democratic Executive Committee.

Amarillo District Boy Scouts Court of Honor
The monthly Court of Honor for the Amarillo District of the Boy Scouts of America will be held at 8 o clock Thursday evening in Fellowship Hall at the First Christian Church on Eighth and Taylor. Awards will be given for first and second class ranks star life merit badges and for Camp Ki O Wah advancement. Troop 24 sponsored by the First Christian Church will host and handle the flag ceremony under Scoutmaster Leslie E Smith. Parents and friends are invited.

O D Thompson says the San Jacinto Kiwanis Club will run a telephone campaign Friday to sell blocks of tickets for Cadence of Stars a two hour vaudeville show Saturday July 31 at Municipal Auditorium. The drive replaces door to door canvassing with business firms contacted to supervise ticket distribution. Performers include Twinkle and Taylor Gloria Jerome Wing and Wingo and a chorus line.
