Three major companies Santa Fe Pennsylvania Railroad and Trans Continental Air Transport announce a plan to operate huge 14 passenger tri motion planes coast to coast this summer. The service will link New York Columbus St Louis Wichita Amarillo and Los Angeles with trains interlining and baggage handling by rail. Fares run about two and a half times the current coast to coast fare of 109 dollars. The Trans Continental Air Transport backs with five million dollars and Blair and Co hold the stock.
The city commission will consider a $100000 bond issue for a municipal airport to purchase and equip an A class field. A 480 acre site two and a half miles from the city was purchased for $45200 and a $9000 difference would fund turfing fencing and needed equipment. Two people died and another was injured in separate road accidents near Houston. A. H. Drew, 25, of Houston, was killed when he crashed into a concrete bridge on the Baytown road. T. F. Stone, his companion, was seriously hurt. Edwin Cathriner, 22, of Goose Creek, died from injuries after his car was struck by a Missouri Pacific interurban near Baytown.
Perry 8. Pearson, Amarillo attorney, appointed by the bar to replace Judge Motlow for the next thirty days in Potter County. Motlow plans a campaign for reelection and avoids regular court, leaving Pearson to handle dockets. The temporary judge worked on appearance cases Monday and today.

George C. Bradley, 26, died today from injuries sustained in last night's explosion at a Dallas gas service station. Three men were injured in the incident as investigators scrutinize the cause.
Hollywood actress Bessie Love reportedly visited Polk Street between trains wearing fine clothes but no hosiery. Ross D. Rogers and Tom Nelson confirm she was in the city and seen walking on Polk Street minus hosiery after a motion picture showing.
