A-Deal-Em Bridge Club met Tuesday afternoon at 806 Mary and with Mrs. Floyd Jones hosting. High score went to Mrs. Harry S. Milholland, second to Mrs. O. J. Fredell, and guest prize to Mrs. T. R. Cross. Refreshments were served to Mesdames Mel lor, Galbreath, Milholland, Fredell and guests Mrs. Lynch, Mrs. Cur tis and Mrs. Cross. Next meeting is a birthday luncheon on Feb 3 at 1 at Mrs. Milhollands home honoring Mrs. Fredell.

Delphian Society Deliberations Discuss Social Conflicts
Delta Chapter of the Delphian Society met at the Federation Club Rooms for a regular session. Mrs. Fred M. Vaughan led a lesson on The Toll of Group Conflicts while Mrs. L. A. Boykin Jr discussed Man Against Himself. Mrs. G. R. Ross and Mrs. Leon Morris spoke on Farming versus Farmers and The American Labor Group and Its Problems. Mrs. Owen Harvey concluded with The Labor Union and the Public. Attendees included Mesdames Amend, Archer, Davidson, Collins, Davis, Davis Jr, Flack, Fox, Keeling Jr, Lee, Lehman, McCasland, Owens, Peterson, Scott, Sharp, Sawyer, Wickham, Windsor. The next meeting is set for Feb 3 at 9:30 in the Federation Club Rooms.

Bride Billie Jo Spoonts Feted At Tea Shower
Mrs. William Spoonts the former Billie Jo Lidia was honored at a tea and pottery shower by Mrs. George Royse in 2024 Ong. Pink and white gladioli and carnations decorated the rooms. A lace table held a bouquet with tapers. Mrs. J. T. Harris led the silver service, Miss Margaret McCarley took names, and guests wore vanda orchid corsages. Thirty five guests attended.

Rebekah Lodge Plans Hall Opening and Joint Meeting
The Rebekah Lodge 145 met at Rebekah Hall West Sixth with Miss Wilma Pirschell noble grand in charge. Plans were made for a Feb. 3 hall opening and a Jan. 27 joint circle meeting with Amarillo Rebekah Lodge 222. Thirty-eight members attended.
