The Philharmonic Music Club met at Mrs. Howard Boxwell's home to present “American Popular Classics of the Twentieth Century.” Performers included Mrs. Bond, Mrs. Beirne, Mrs. Martin, Mrs. Bowie Jr., and Mrs. SoRelle with piano duets and vocal selections. A second gathering by the Twentieth Century Culture Club followed with world-figures roll call and round-table discussion led by Mrs. Townsend Douglas.
