Phillip Roscoe Davin a 40 year old comedian with the Jean Gladstone company at the Deandi theater worked through a double pneumonia warning to perform two last nights. He collapsed and died before morning as colleagues recall his selfless devotion to fellow actors and the stage. Funeral arrangements are by N. B. Griggs and Sons.

Raymond Feeney, said to be from Flint Michigan, jailed awaiting arraignment on four counts of negligent homicide. The complaint filed January 12 names Wallace Stone as the reporter after his son Gordon Stone, age four, was killed December 20 when struck by a car that fled the scene. An automobile located in Flint may shed light on the case as a county court inquiry is anticipated in a few days. A $1 200 reward was offered by Amarillo citizens for the arrest of the driver.

Mian Mathilda Baatlan a 22 year old primary school teacher in Adrian Texas died when her car skidded from the road and plunged into a ditch on the return from a visit. Sister and brother in law Mr and Mrs John Skaggs were injured but expected to recover. The body was sent to Decatur Texas for burial.

Three men are being held at the Borger city jail for investigation suspected as the masked bandits who fatally shot Mrs. A. A. Monte wife of a filling station owner during a Saturday night holdup. Police began rounding up many suspects as bloodhounds aided the case. Mrs Monte was shot four times and her body sent to Wisconsin.
