Tunisian Nuns Aid Wounded Allied Soldiers
White-clad nuns run a hospital in a Tunisian town near the front and gave space for diagnosis and emergency care to American and British troops. They also supplied laundry gear and funded a delousing unit as soldiers travel long distances for hot showers. A cheerful nun greets each patient daily, her smile transcending language.
