Veteran opens war on pickets in Beaumont riot
A former Army sergeant was fined 32.50 for drunkenness after he slugged a telephone picket who later broke his nose. The assailant said in the past overseas he promised to punch the first picket he saw. The injured picket was a former Air Corps sergeant.
