Jefferson Texas January 13 County Judge William Clark 79 former grand master of the Masonic Grand Lodge of Texas died at his home from pneumonia. Funeral arrangements were incomplete with services pending today.
Business was quiet in the county clerk’s office with no marriage licenses issued. Friday the 13th led couples to wait, expecting licenses to be issued tomorrow.

Ruth Snyder and Henry Judd Gray, lovers and killers of Albert Snyder, died in the electric chair at Sing Sing. An autopsy found an abnormal gland in Mrs. Snyder's neck. The couple were executed between 11 and 11:14 p m with 2200 volts in a 50 by 20 foot chamber as spectators watched in silence.
