Maj. Harold A. Reynolds announced the Amarillo Army and Air Force Recruiting Station will recruit five men daily under a new Air Force freeze on volunteers. Army enlistment remains open. The station worked late to clear a volunteer backlog before the limit, delaying some eligible recruits.
