Benton J D Henton and Hugh Benton two daughters Mrs D T Leachman and Mrs James L Brisco a brother Bruce Benton and a sister Mrs Anna Handley plus 11 grandchildren. Burial arrangements by Boxwell Brothers Chapel remain in state till service time.

Clare Tree Major presents The Poor Little Rich Girl tomorrow at 3 30 PM in the Senior High School Auditorium. School children with tickets will be dismissed early to attend.
Police will start enforcing the new parking meter system at 9 AM tomorrow with 421 meters in use. Motorists must pay from 9 AM to 6 PM on weekdays, 9 AM to 9 PM on Saturdays, and no charges on Sundays and holidays, while delivery trucks are exempt during loading but no double parking is allowed.
Police Chief Sid Harper announced that enemy aliens in Amarillo must turn over firearms cameras and radios especially short wave sets. Property will be labeled stamped and held for the duration. First registration showed a few Germans and Italians classified as enemy aliens with no Japanese present. Noncompliance could lead to imprisonment.
