Man Killed Here May Be Coloradoan
Efforts to identify a man found dead yesterday morning in the railroad terminals here centered today in Trinidad. Members of the sheriff's force located two transients who had talked to the man a comparatively short time before his body was found and learned the victim came from Trinidad. Some of the man's effects bore the name of a Trinidad business house. The victim, at Griges chapel, was crushed and suffocated when caught by a shifting shipment of scrap steel.

Woman Burned in Stove Blast At McDaniel Home
Miss Dolly Sheedy 37 is recovering at Mrs. W A Edwards 805 Georgia Street after a gasoline stove she was lighting exploded yesterday morning. She suffered severe burns on both arms and her face as the McDaniel household at St. Francis reported the accident.

Convict Pleads Guilty To Cow Theft Charge
J M McDaniel Jr a 39 year old convict pled guilty in 47th district court at Canyon to cow theft and was sentenced to two years by Judge F E C Nelson. He was taken to Canyon on a bench warrant from the Texas prison and will be moved to Deaf Smith County for a separate cattle theft case. He had faced eight years in potential terms before the sentence.
