Public Hearing On Rezoning In Amarillo Tonight
The City Plan ning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing at 8 o'clock tonight in City Hall on four rezoning areas. C A James chairs the committee. Readings include 2212 to 2216 Fillmore from B dwelling to C retail and other requests from retail to C commercial and residential to D. A second manufacturing area in Original Town also is under consideration with numerous West Fifth and North West parcels listed.

Funeral services for William F Edwards, 87 years old, father of John S Edwards of 1233 Crockett, were held in Crossville Til. Burial followed at the family plot beside his wife who died eight years ago. He died at 10 o'clock New Year’s morning at the family farm three miles from Crossville. his son John S was at the home when he passed. The Amarillo man left here Dec 28 for Crossville.

Choir to Sing at Amarillo Chamber Meeting
The Amarillo High School A Cappella Choir will perform at the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce membership meeting in the Municipal Auditorium Monday night.
