Sherman Texas February 24 Thirty three men and women were arrested early today in and near Denison in a raid by the U S Department and Denison police directed by County Attorney Roy Finley. The city jail of Sherman was overrun as arrests were made and those unable to post bond were held at the county jail in Sherman.
Carl Metzger of Mezger Bros. Creamery Dallas purchases a 60 by 110 foot east front lot north of Fort Worth and Denver station on Fillmore Street through Gaut Land Co for Amarillo plant. He will return to Dallas to draw plans and plans to award building contract in two to three weeks. The investment totals about 50000 dollars.
