The justice department filed anti trust suits seeking 1 053 474 dollars in triple damages from 18 tire manufacturers accused of a price fixing conspiracy. Mr and Mrs Sidney M Wright former AmArillo residents died Saturday night from injuries in a mobile accident near Dahlgren Virginia. Mrs Wright maiden Lorraine Blackburn daughter of Albert and Mrs Blackburn of 08 Madison Street Amarillo. He a Clovis New Mexico native navy veteran of five years. They wed in Amarillo last May. Directors and committee chairmen of the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce were notified of a noon meeting tomorrow in parlor A of the Amarillo Hotel. The session serves as a follow up to Friday’s meeting where Carl Hinton reported on his Washington trip. Mrs. Hinton, elected Friday as an official delegate, registered today at a Washington aviation forum sponsored by the National Aeronautic Association. Joseph D. Moad Dies in Amarillo

Funeral rites for Joseph David Moad 84, retired farmer, were at Boxwell Brothers Chapel in Amarillo. He died at home on East Eighth Avenue. Native of Tipton Ohio, resident of Amarillo eight years. Survived by two daughters Sarah Ann Lively Kingfisher Oklahoma and Quint Taylor Borger, and two sons C E Moad Amarillo and J E Moad Kingfisher.
