Four Amarillo policemen and the city electrician became federally licensed radio operators. Sgt Elmer Green and Frank King Marshall Turner Leo Yielding and Glen Bowen traveled to Dallas three weeks ago to take the exam before the federal radio commission. All five received certificates as radio operators for the post department's new system.
