Rites Tomorrow for J A Caple
Funeral services for James Alfred Caple 85 will be held at 2 30 pm tomorrow in the First Christian Church. The Rev Mack McCoy and Hoyt H Houchen will officiate. Caple died last night at 7 30 in his home 1410 Lincoln after a long illness. He was a retired farmer who came to Amarillo in 1939 from Crosbyton. Born April 29 1865 in Calico Rock Arkansas he is survived by his wife Beuleh Caple three daughters Maude Broom Edith Meacham and Edna Flemins nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery under N S Griggs & Sons.

Ramos Sentenced To Two Years In Federal Court
Manuel Ramos received a two year federal prison term after pleading guilty to theft from an interstate shipment. He was sentenced yesterday in federal district court here and placed on probation Tuesday after his plea in the Amarillo Latin-American community. He was arrested Tuesday night on related charges.
