At the 33rd annual stockholders meeting President A N Olver announced debt clearance and membership growth to about 500. The improvement program includes a large purification pool with AAU meeting space, expanded locker rooms, grills, and an extended terrace, with the current pool used as a basement area until the new facility opens.

Indictments naming three men in Potter County burglary case
Indictments were served on William Thomas Page Cecil Fugene Castleberry and Jerry J Runyon. Page and Castleberry faces burglary charges for entering the H L Finch Service Station January 30 and stealing gasoline coupons totaling 11 000 gallons. Runyon faces robbery by assault and theft for taking money and jewelry from Charles E Collins February 1. The men are being questioned in related burglaries and their wives posted 1000 bonds.
