Love in Music Delight At Phil harmonic Music Club

The Monday meeting at Mrs Norman Harris home 1516 Bryan themed Love in Music featured piano and vocal numbers by Mrs Lloyd Cook Miss Lilly Larsen Miss Evelyn Fagg and others with Mrs Jack La Belle presiding and Mrs H A Waller directing. Refreshments followed the Valentine decorated table.

Auxiliary Plans Visit by Officer Mills in Amarillo

Mrs. Henrietta Mills national commander of the DAV Auxiliary will visit Amarillo as guest of J. E. Pietzsch Chapter 26 and Auxiliary. On Friday at 10 am she tours the Veterans Hospital. A 7 30 pm banquet at Dowell's Saratoga Cafe No 2 honors her and Saturday features a luncheon with the Auxiliary. She is accompanied by Mrs. Catherine Early of Dallas national membership chairman.

Pilot Club Elects Shirley Dobbs President at Herring Hotel

Miss Shirley Dobbs was elected president of the Pilot Club during a Monday night dinner at the Herring Hotel. Other officers include Mildred Lamb as first vice president Adele Barnes as second vice president Eunice Best as recording secretary Adra Lamons as corresponding secretary and Josephine DeCoster as treasurer. Directors are Dr Frances Ruth Benson and Bonita Wilkinson. The meeting, led by president Salome Hales, heard committee reports and named members to Amarillo Council of Social Agencies and Amarillo Safety Council.
