Road worker crushed under heavy tractor near Amarillo

W. C. Lange, 44, Amarillo Construction Co. laborer, nine miles north of Amarillo, was seriously injured this morning when he was run over after cranking a tractor in gear. Ambulance crews said his right leg was crushed between the truck body and tractor radiator, with multiple cuts and bruises.
