Funeral services held for Leon H. Boyce prominent Panhandle figure

The last rites were observed at the family home in Amarillo for Leon H. Boyce wealthy cattleman banker and land owner who died after a three weeks illness. Survived by daughter Mary Linn mother Mrs A G Boyce brothers J H Boyce and Judge William Boyce. He moved to Amarillo in 1905 and helped develop the Panhandle. he was a Dalhart lodge member and a Scottish Rite Mason.

Pretty Co ed is gay over trial

Marion Meyers a 10 year old former university co ed will stand trial in circuit court after waiving examination on a charge of attempting to rob the First National Bank in Vermillion South Carolina. Her demeanor changed after her mother arrived, claiming her daughter was influenced to act. Bond set at 1500 dollars.

Daugherty and Miller Face Second Trial in New York

New York February 7, government lawyers reopen the case against former Attorney General Harry M. Daugherty and ex alien property custodian Thomas W. Miller. Bomb Explosion Kills 2 Children in Pittsburgh Home

A dynamite bomb destroyed the home of Earl Mayberry in Pittsburgh Kansas killing two children, a 10 year old girl and a 6 year old boy, while they slept. Mrs. Mayberry was severely injured but expected to recover. Marl Mayberry was arrested nearby and detained for questioning. Harvey Davis and his wife, once close friends, are jailed amid domestic trouble connections. The blast victimized a small bedroom area and neighbors reported Mrs. Mayberry found dazed.
