Llano Estacado Council Boy Scouts marks the national organization anniversary with an annual meeting in Cathedral hall at 1110 Washington Street. Representatives from 10 counties attend the event scheduled to start at 5 PM with dinner served at 7 PM.
Funeral services for Forrest Hitchcock, who died yesterday in a Wichita Falls hospital after a heart attack, will be at 4 PM tomorrow at Griggs Funeral Chapel. Rev. Frank A Godsoe will officiate. He lived in Amarillo and worked in Mineral Wells. he was visiting his mother in Wichita Falls when stricken. Burial in Llano Cemetery. Survived by his mother, one son Glenn Hitchcock of Tacoma, and five sisters.
Mrs. Sam L. Seay secretary of the Christian Social Relations Committee of the Northwest Texas Methodist Conference departs for Austin with plans to join the Texas Council of Methodist Women board. Attending are Mrs. C. A. Bickley of Lubbock conference president and Mrs. N. B. Hilburn of Lubbock secretary. The council counts 450000 Texas women and will push to outlaw the poll tax and white primary and seek better prison education and treatment. Jessie Daniel Ames of Atlanta will headline programs to improve white and black relations.

Meats fats and other staples use stamps V W X valid through Feb 26, G H J through Feb 20, K L M through March 20, sugar stamps 30 and 40 for canning through late Feb and March. Shoes stamps 18 and airplane stamp 1 unlimited. Gasoline coupons vary by region with 8-A three gallons through Feb 8, 9-A and 10-A changes through May 8 and March 21, plus B C and higher values with regional limits.

He studied at the University of Texas and Texas A and M and worked for National Finance Credit Corp before enlisting. In Amarillo, Clara Patten is named administratrix of S. C. Patten estate, creditors asked to settle, claims to be filed at 1511 North Washington Street by law.
