Richard Jaeckel Falls Ten Floors in NYC Visit
Richard Jaeckel, 55, wealthy furrier, left Bellevue hospital with only a cut on the head after tumbling over 100 feet to a canvas canopy from a duplex apartment. He was unconscious from the fall but suffered no other injuries. Jaeckel, a former American amateur wrestling champion, was visiting his brother Walter when the accident occurred and authorities say he may have lost his balance while opening a window.

Legionnaires and Hanson Post Auxiliary members will be entertained in their new home by Social Center girls led by Miss Ingeborg Kilstofte. Maynard Drake arranged the program and the Legion of Safety broadcasts on KGNC. Dr. R. Thomson of Central Presbyterian Church will be principal speaker tonight at 8 45. Drake said Dr. O. E Herndon of the Veterans Hospital will attend tomorrow night.
