Shell Fire Rages in Shanghai Chapel as Japanese Attack
In Shanghai region on Feb 5 Japanese heavy guns opened fire on Chinese positions north of the city while machine guns raked the lines. Fires erupted in Chapel as three large blazes burned amid shelling and evacuation of Japanese women and children proceeded by coastal ships.
