Mrs James Lawrence of Fort Worth seeks ten thousand from Ralph Lemons of Amarillo, alleging her husband invested funds in a photography firm managed by them and Lemons misused the money after Lawrence died in July. Crash victim in improved condition near Canadian River bridge
James Williams, 21, a Lamar Colorado man, was described as improved after a Thursday night highway crash near the Canadian River bridge on the Dumas road. He rode in a pickup that rear collided with a loaded semi-trailer. Williams sustained head and shoulder lacerations. Ennis Miles, also of Lamar, rode with him. driver of the other vehicle was William Otis Patton of Borger. Miles said he was momentarily blinded by another vehicle and could not see the truck in time.
