Nineteenth Annual Amarillo Day Nursery Christmas Party
The Amarillo Day Nursery hosted its 19th Christmas party for about 90 children at 401 Van Buren. Mrs. G S McLellan led the program with Mrs. Lila Robinson at the piano as children sang carols and a reading titled Our Christmas Wish was performed by Ramona James. Santa arrived with toys for younger kids and all received candy, nuts, and fruit. The event involved Pilot Club volunteers, other civic groups, and donors. the nursery serves pre school to babies under supervision and offers crafts, stories, Bible lessons, and balanced W F A meals.
