Movers Die From Carbon Monoxide At Friona Home
In Friona Texas December 16 two professional movers Tom T. Hunt 63 and Carl Pierce 25 died after carbon monoxide from a running truck filled a kitchen where they worked. The truck engine had run for over 40 minutes before shut off and the men collapsed after entering the kitchen. Pierce left a widow and five month old baby. Hunt had lived in Friona for a year and came from Megargle. The gas stove had been disconnected and gas pipe capped.
