The article reviews Anita Pollitzer's piece on Georgia O'Keeffe, noting her Texan teaching years from 1913 to 1915 in Amarillo and at West Texas State, the influence of Panhandle landscapes on her early work, and her later rise in New York after meeting Alfred Stieglitz. It recalls her arrival to Texas, teaching pay, and the West Texas mood shaping her world.
