Reports describe a man claiming involvement in crimes near San Calgary 20 miles northeast of the Mojave. He supposedly led other boys into the desert and forced them to say prayers before killing them, crying as this happened.

George Gay testified he bought four pints of whiskey from Clarence Clemons on November 17 and that his salary depended on grand jury indictments, but the jury found Clemons not guilty. London reports a royal bulletin says King George passed a quiet morning with temperature 100.2 and slight improvement. Premier Baldwin announced a commission is appointed to transact business for the king, naming Queen Mary, the Prince of Wales, the Duke of York, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the lord chancellor, and the premier as councillors of state. The king was well enough to enable a privy council meeting.

The court grand jury resumes its probe into irregularities today.
The Associated Press reports Paris today officially refused the United States request to extradite H. M. Blackmer, a missing oil case witness. The bid followed an indictment in Denver accusing him of false income tax returns.
