Miss Patricia Sue Patterson daughter of Mr and Mrs G E Patterson 796 North Johnson became the bride of Roy C Barr 710 Tyler in a First Presbyterian Church twilight ceremony officiated by Dr Francis W Pritchard. Attendants were Miss Charlotte Harrison and Sgt Cecil L White served as best man. The couple now reside in Amarillo following a short wedding trip to Bowie. Out of town guests included Mrs Taylor Bowie and others from Childress Lubbock Pell City Ala.

Roy Earl Jackson Dies in Rifle Accident
Funeral services for Roy Earl Jackson, who died yesterday from an accidental rifle shot, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Central Baptist Church in Lubbock with Rev. Jeff Welch officiating. The body was sent to Lubbock by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home. Roy, son of Mr and Mrs J R Jackson of 2103 Fillmore, was a high school student who was shot while storing the rifle at his home after a rabbit hunt. The family had moved to the area from Lubbock two weeks ago.
