Funeral services for James Earl Davis 55 will be held tomorrow morning at the Central Church of Christ with M G Guthbertson officiating. Burial follows at Idana Cemetery under Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home direction. Davis died yesterday from a heart attack after living in Amarillo about a decade working as a used car dealer and operator of Veretign blind company. The family home is 424 West Tenth.
Judge James D. Hamlin, 76, star exhibitor at the Antique Show opening Thursday in the Federation of Women’s Clubs Rooms, Municipal Auditorium. The Panhandle Plains Museum will receive his personal collections, including items from the Elzevir Press. Hamlin, pioneer educator and former XIT representative, helped found Amarillo College in West Texas.
