Blacksmith Builds Atlantic Hop Model Plane in Back Yard
Hancock I aug 31 United Press reports 74 year old blacksmith W S Lambert has abandoned his forge to pursue an airplane capable of crossing the Atlantic in 11 hours. He claims a speed of 309 mph and a standing takeoff. Lieutenant Glee Martin, a Hancock native and former wartime aviator, will test flights this fall.
