Scout Exhibit to Highlight Handicraft at Amarillo Exposition
Reports from Panhandle scout council officials forecast a major Boy Scout handicraft display at the Amarillo Tri State exposition. Thomas H. Nelson says the exhibit will surpass all prior Southwest displays and include every phase of handicraft. FE. L. Roberts notes a terrapin race program with seventy racing terrapins assigned to each troop and a silver loving cup for the troop with most wins. A Panhandle camporee is planned for Saturday September 17 with all troops represented and an archery meet during the camporee.

Man Killed By Gas From Auto Exhaust
The body of Arthur McDonald aged 45 was found in a Union Oil garage at Maverick Springs and is believed to have died from carbon monoxide poisoning. His widow and a son and daughter survive in Fort Collins Colorado. The body will be brought to Fort Collins for burial.
