Trial moved to Sweetwater for Hunt couple case
District Attorney H M Lafont announced a venue change sending the parolee Jim Thomas case to Sweetwater from Lamesa. Thomas faces death penalty after two prior trials for the 1943 slaying of Dr Roy Hunt and wife in Littlefield, with a mistrial and a later reversal of the death sentence.
