Washington barber Harry Rich known as The Barber polls public mood with The Barber Poll beginning next week. Since 1928 he has predicted major outcomes including Hoover versus Smith and Dewey versus Truman. He funds ballots himself and plans reports from 800 barbers nationwide. Ballots list Truman Dewey and Wallace with space for write-ins.
