Open Bins At Pantex For Emergency Grain Storage
West Texas will lease surplus government buildings for emergency grain storage after requests from six Midwestern and Southwestern states. Colonel Karl E Wallace, regional WAA director, said structures include much of the Pantex ordnance works near Amarillo. Talks to transfer the installation to Texas Tech are in progress with cooperation to allocate maximum space.
