Plows and scrapers will begin on the Fort Worth and Denver Northern Railway right of way around August 25. Gen. John A. Hulen, vice president, said bridge construction will proceed with grading. Amarillo reported a quarter inch rain with other areas receiving up to 0.25 inch. Temperatures topped 67 in Amarillo by 1 PM while Fort Worth & Denver areas reported no precipitation at noon. Unsettled conditions and warmer temperatures are forecast for Wednesday.
