Market notes from Kansas City show hogs uneven and lower by 15 to 35 cents with prices for 50 to 250 pound hogs at 12.25 to 12.45, and 260 pound hogs at 11.45 to 12.20. Cattle and calves largely steady to weaker with some good fed steers around 14.09 to 16.26 and weaner prices up to 10. New Orleans cotton futures drift amid government loan uncertainty with various near term contracts around 10.25 to 10.52 and reports of possible loan terms. Betty Lou Lively Rites Scheduled
Funeral services for Betty Lou Lively twelve year old girl fatally injured while riding a bicycle near Hereford are set for 4 30 this afternoon at Griggs and Sons Chapel. Rev W W Pittman will officiate with burial at Llano Cemetery. Betty Lou daughter of Mr and Mrs Jack Lively of 502 North Lincoln Street was struck by a truck while crossing a road two miles north of Hereford at 1130 Monday morning and died on the way to the hospital. She had gone to Hereford to visit the John Kropps family. Her parents had returned to Amarillo.

Barber Loses Rooster After Picking Feathers on Subway
