Canyon youth injured in city auto crash
H B Owens an 18 year old Canyon youth suffered a broken left arm several broken ribs and possible internal injuries in an auto crash at Third Avenue and Fillmore Street last night at 1110 oclock. He was riding on the running board of a car driven by T S Stevenson Jr 17 also of Canyon and was thrown under a second car driven by Warren Dennis 30 of 1005 Harrison Street. Dennis was eastbound as Stevenson northbound at a high rate of speed when the collision occurred. Another occupant in the Stevenson car was uninjured. Both cars were badly damaged and Owens was taken to Northwest Texas Hospital in a Griggs Ambulance.
