Two men named L. M. Brandt and C. B. Bland were arrested near Canyon by state highway patrol and Canyon officers in connection with a mysterious unidentified man’s slaying near Shamrock Tuesday night. Deputies said their statements differ and no definite identification has been made. They claimed they left a Dallas hotel Tuesday afternoon and pawned a 32 calibre pistol at McKinney.
