Wrangel Isle Survivors All Found Well
An aviator Krasinsky flew from the ice boat Luke to Wrangel Island and found six Russians and Eskimos alive after three years of isolation. The colony, cut off by shifting ice in Long Strait, greeted the news with joy and showed signs of adapting to Eskimo subsistence. All were in excellent health.
