Man Slain in Hold Up Says El Paso Police Glad
Rudolph Oakley fatally shot during a holdup told police on his death bed that the El Paso police would be glad to hear of his death. He suggested the killing would clear up stuff down there. A man identified by police as Oakley fled a Fort Cayton grocery store after an attempted hold up. Pursued by a officer, he fired and was fatally wounded. a beaded folder held a photo of a mulatto woman believed to be his mother. He left a dying message naming a Mrs Grace in Juarez Mexico cabaret. He died in Fort Worth hospital an hour later during treatment.

Thrill show to feature car plunges near river bridge
