29 000 To Pay Poll Tax in ’51
Hubert Cole Potter County tax assessor collector predicts this year will bring the largest poll tax business in county history with an estimated 25 000 paid poll taxes and 5 000 or 6 000 exemption certificates. He asked commissioners to order 30 000 tax receipts and 10 000 exemption certificates as 1951 receipts cover 1952 elections.
