In Korea near Kumchon Col William C Holley of Corvallis Oregon led engineers to seize a rail station and defend against North Korean forces. Fifteen freight cars with gasoline and munitions stood at risk as Holley planned to blow the line only to obtain a locomotive. After two hours the locomotive arrived and pulled the train out.
