The Primary Department of San Jacinto Methodist Church will sponsor an ice cream supper on the lawn of Mrs. EF R Jacobson at 3916 East Fourth Avenue from 7 to 10 tomorrow night. Homemade ice cream and cake 5 cents each with table and curb service. public invited.
Mrs. Lawrence Walker formerly Miss Mary Ellen Stover was honored at a breakfast shower hosted by Mrs. John Gilchrist at 3718 West Sixth Avenue. Attendees included Mesdames Berry of Waco Davis of Wichita Falls and Beulah Stovall plus the honoree and hostesses.
Tonight Potter Community Home Demonstration Council and 4 H members gather at Ellwood Park and Woodmen Circle Hall for a 6 50 p m meeting and 8 p m regular business session. Friday events include the Amarillo Pedigreed Roller Canary Bird Club watermelon party Ellwood Park and Red Carnation Lodge Hall. coffee hour at 1020 Travia Street and various church and music activities around town.

Liam Chenault, Ernestine Blount, Misses Madelyn Ingerton, Margie Kyle, Kathryn Talbott and Lucille Lyons attend gatherings. A party tonight and another this weekend will compliment Miss Chance.
The River Road Home Demonstration Club met at Mrs. W. B. Gilbert's home for breakfast and a backyard business session led by Mrs. T. J. Maloney. They planned full attendance for the county wide picnic hosted by the Potter County Home Demonstration Council at Ellwood Park at 6:30 p.m. Also noted is material for the 1941 year book.
The group discussed and voted on a matter and announced a 10 o’clock morning meeting on Aug 21 at Mage Mason’s home for a covered event. Mrs. Ben Cracraft and Mrs. G le Cline reported trips to College Station with numerous attendees listed.
The Woodmen Circle No. 171 holds a regular business meeting at 8 o clock tonight in the I O O F Hall.
