Outside Work By D A s Aides Irks County Dads
District Attorney Lloyd King faces a snag as the county commission demands exact figures on how much of his assistants time is spent in private legal work. King says assistants do some outside work to supplement salaries and that he does not. The commission will decide whether to hire an investigator after reviewing the data. A separate matter, L J Gabel seeks compensation from the county for outlays on Bush Estate land slated for Highway 66 widening. The Bush Estate lease means Gabel has no legal right to damages, and the commission will rule later.
