Amarillo Urges Funds to Save Tri-State Fair Opening
Amarillo officials call for $25,000 by Tuesday noon to cover old debts and insure the Tri-State Fair opens on September 11. Twenty-five firms and individuals have contributed $8,450, stressing the fair’s value to Amarillo and the Panhandle as citizens are urged to mail in coupons and checks.
