Plan Model Airplane Meet Highlights Amarillo Youths
A free flight model airplane meet for Amarillo youngsters is planned for Sunday afternoon near Wolflin Lake. Dr Malcolm Wyatt speaks for the newly formed Exchange Club. Oliver Crawford will direct the event and act as unofficial timer as models of gas power gliders and other types compete for endurance. The meet aims to spark interest and pave the way for a future model airplane club with regular contests next summer. Santa Fe reports March net railway operating income of 3 513 508 and first quarter net of 9 840 366 versus 11 898 247 a year earlier.
