The first annual show in the Hunsley Building featured weaving, wood, linoleum block printing, jewelry, model planes and boats, photography, dolls and masks with ribbons awarded in all divisions. Patterned after Pittsburgh’s National Children’s Arts and Crafts Show, the free exhibit drew many visitors astonished by the high quality and variety of work.
