SAN ANTONIO, April 16. Clerks and a woman worker were involved in two scuffles at Finch Cigar Company during a strike for union recognition. Four women were arrested and about 15 officers patrolled the plant. Motorcycle Officer Pablo Hinojosa had his shirt torn by a striker. hours later a strikebreaker woman was assaulted and her clothes torn.

Escape From Potter County Jail Shocks Amarillo
Wayne Tuckness and Curtis Locke, youths from Amarillo, escaped Potter County Jail after an open kitchen door and fire escape were used. They were serving short terms for assault with intent to murder at a local cafe. The escape occurred yesterday around noon with new sentences of six and four months to be served.
