Master Leslie Thompson Jr marked his seventh birthday with an Easter party at his home 102 Crestway Avenue Country Club Addition. Games plus an Easter egg hunt entertained guests Betty Marie Thompson and Margaret Cannon Boyce won prizes. youngsters gathered in the dining room for a deco lake, greenery, seven candle cake, and pink Easter egg favors assisted by his mother Mrs. Leslie Thompson. Guests included Patricia Thompson Margaret Cannon Boyce John Shelton William Shelton and John K Boyce Jr.

Wales Etter Marriage of Littlefield Is Announced
Miss Varena Wales of Littlefield and Mallory W. Etter of Roby Texas were married April 9 at the bride’s home with Rev W P Thorp officiating. Bridesmaid was Louise Magee of Lubbock. Mrs Etter is Southwestern University class of 1925 graduate and a high school faculty member. Groom is from Roby, works at First National Bank and as a cotton broker. They will reside in Littlefield after a brief honeymoon.

Several Amarillo club women will attend the sixth annual conven tion of the seventh district Texas Federation of Women’s clubs in Quanah on April 20 to 22.
